2025-26 will be Olson's second season as an assistant at UW-Stout.
UW-STOUT (2024-Present)
2024-25: The Blue Devils made history in 2024-25. Advancing to the programs first ever NCAA Division III Final Four. Stout went 23-8, 10-4 to finish second in the WIAC. Stout hosted the first and second rounds of the NCAA Division III tournament, defeating Ripon (87-57) and No. 6 Whitman (75-69) to advance to the Sweet 16 for the second consecutive year. Stout then topped rival Whitewater 62-56 to advance to their first ever Elite 8 topping host No. 5 Scranton 81-77 before falling in the final four to No. 1 New York Univ. 74-55. Stout had four all-WIAC honorees, a n All-WIAC defensive team member, two all-region selecions and an All-American. Raegan Sorensen wrapped up her carrer with numerous acolades. First-Team All-WIAC, D3hoops.com First-Team All-Region, D3hoops.com Second-Team All-American, and WBCA Honorable Mention All-American. She led the WIAC and was 20th in the nation shooting 55.0 percent from the floor, scored 30 or more points four times. and finished her career has the programs all-time leading scorer with 1754 points and 737 rebounds (fifth all time). Anna Mutch was named All-WIAC, third-team D3hoops.com All-Region, and was fifth all-time with 1449 career points. Amanda Giesen was named First-Team All-WIAC and finished her career sixth with 1330 career points. Sam Schaeffer was named to the All-WIAC Defensive Team Lex Wagner wasHonorable Mention All-WIAC. She shot 45.7 percent from 3-point range (fourth in the nation). She led the WIAC and was 17th in the nation in 3-pointers per game (2.88)and set a school record and tied a WIAC single game record with nine (9-14) made 3-point field goals against UW-Eau Claire on Jan. 22

COACHING CAREER
University of Minnesota (2023-24): the Gophers won 20 games, finishing with an overall record of 20-16. The squad reached the WNIT Championship game and finished as the runner-up. Olson helped coach a pair of All-Big Ten Honorable Mention guards in Mara Braun and Amaya Battle while also helping Grace Grocholski to a unanimous Big Ten All-Freshman Team selection.
PLAYING CAREER
University of Minnesota Duluth (2017):Olson was one of the best players in program history, amassing 2530 points in 143 games played in five seasons. She started 110 games and was the captain and leading scorer on the Bulldogs 2022-23 team that reached the NCAA Division II National Championship game along with winning a conference title. In five seasons Olson averaged 17.7 points, highlighted by her 23.1 during the 2022-23 seasons, and added 6.6 rebounds per contest. During her career she shot 52.3 percent from the floor, 81.1 percent from the free throw line and 35.4 percent from beyond the arc. She was the 2022-23 WBCA Division II WBCA Player of the Year and was a Division II Honda Athlete of the Year Finalist. She left Duluth as the program's first four-time All-American and was also named the CSC's Division II All-America Player of the Year.
Rice Lake High School: Played five seasons and captained the last three years for the Warriors and head coach Darla Olson (mother) • 2017-18
Leader-Telegram All-Northwest Player of the Year • a two-time All-State WBCA honoree and a three-time All-Big Rivers Conference selection • named to All-Northwest second team as a junior • scored at 17.0 points per game and in rebounding at 12.7 boards per game as a junior and backed that up with 22.3 points and 12.7 rebounds as a senior • received the team's determination award and the passion award (twice) for the Warriors • competed as a middle blocker for the Warriors, earning 2017 All-Big Rivers Conference honorable mention, and played two years of goalie on the soccer team that made back-to-back trips to the state tournament.
