UW-STOUT (2024-Present)
2025: The Blue Devils went 13-23, 4-10. Stout had the 25
th toughest strength of schedule in all of DIII. The Blue Devils saw a 33 point improvement in batting average up to .318. The team saw bumps in OPS, slugging percentage and 32 pount jump in on base percentage, while see a drastic drop in strikeouts.Stout topped Augsburg 13-2 in five innings, pitchers Kennedy Hodgeman, Samantha Bergeron and Anna Blanford combined for a no-hitter. Stout saw three earn All-WIAC honors. Payton Dolecki, a junior center fielder from Schaumburg, Ill., secured First-Team All-WIAC honors with a career-best .372 batting average. Dolecki tallied 48 hits, including seven doubles and a triple, while scoring 36 runs—second-most in the WIAC—and driving in 10. Her .430 on-base percentage and .442 slugging percentage underscored her offensive prowess, complemented by 19 stolen bases in 20 attempts. Defensively, Dolecki was unmatched in center field, posting a .988 fielding percentage with 77 putouts and eight outfield assists.Anna Blanford, a senior pitcher from Elmwood, Wis., earned Honorable Mention All-WIAC after a standout season in the circle. Starting 23 games and appearing in 31, Blanford recorded a 12-14 record with a career-low 3.58 ERA. She led the WIAC with 16 complete games and ranked 16th nationally with 154.1 innings pitched. Her 117 strikeouts—65th in the nation—and three shutouts marked personal bests, highlighting her durability and dominance for the Blue Devils.Stephanie Kuhn, a sophomore designated player from Apple Valley, Minn., received Honorable Mention All-WIAC. Leading Stout with a .397 batting average, Kuhn amassed 46 hits, including 10 doubles and a triple, while driving in 26 runs and scoring 14. Her .500 slugging percentage, .450 on-base percentage, and .950 OPS reflected her offensive consistency.
BEFORE UW-STOUT
University of Evansville (2022-24) Wagoner was as the assistant coach for the University of Evansville. Her first year she assisted with hitting and coached outfield; her second year she was responsible for UE’s hitting. While at Evansville she increased almost every offensive statistical category during the 2024 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) season: batting average increased fifty-four points, on-base percentage raised thirty-one points, finished second in the MVC in doubles, increased total bases by sixty-four, and reduced strikeouts by ninety over the course of the season. In addition, she helped coach a second-team All-Conference Player, two MVC Players of the Week, one Outfield All-Defensive team, and one Outfield All-Tournament Team member. She helped lead Evansville to their first MVC softball post-season win in eleven years.
PLAYING CAREER
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2021-22) Appeared in eight games as a pinch runner for the Illini, scoring four runs before injuries sidelined her career. She was the 2022 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree and an Academic All-Big Ten selection.
University of Illinois Springfield (2017-20) She helped the Prairie Stars win a GLVC Conference Title as well as a Regional Title. She was a First-Team All-Region and First-Team All-GLVC selection in 2018. In 2020, she was a CoSIDA Academic All-District team selection. She left as the program’s all-time leader in batting average (.375), slugging percentage (.619), doubles (35), triples (15), and total bases (279), while also collecting 169 hits, 99 runs, 15 homers, 102 RBI, 52 stolen bases, and a .414 on-base percentage.
At Havana High School, She was an all-state selection and earned all-conference and all-area honors as a sophomore and junior. Earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a senior after transferring to Sacred Heart-Griffin. Hit .404 with 49 runs and 24 RBI, and was among the league leaders with 25 stolen bases as a senior. Also lettered in cross country and basketball.
PERSONAL
A Havana, Ill. native, Wagoner earned a bachelor's degree in political science at the University of Illinois at Springfield in 2020. And her Master’s Degree in recreation, sports, and tourism from University of Illinois in 2022.
