Larry Ronglien

Larry Ronglien begins his third year in 2010-11 as the Blue Devil assistant and recruiting coordinator with a massive amount of qualifications.

Ronglien coached basketball in Minnesota for 31 years, while serving 20 years as head boys basketball coach for high schools in St. Louis Park, Minn, Edina, Minn., Irondale, Minn., and Mound-Westonka, Minn. He has been an assistant basketball coach at Apple Valley and Richfield, Minn, high schools, as well as two years at the head volleyball coach at St. Louis Park, Minn.

"Larry's background and experience speak for themselves," coach Eddie Andrist said. "He knows the game inside and out, and will be extremely valuable in the evaluation of our team and players. On the recruiting side, he knows a ton of coaches and good people in Minnesota and will prove to be invaluable in getting quality student-athletes to Stout."

Ronglien holds a masters in educational psychology with a bachelors degree in social studies education. Ronglien is currently enrolled in the principal's program at Minnesota State-Mankato.
