Biography
Inducted into Hall of Fame 1992...From the time he was selected "Freshman Athlete of the Year" in 1961, his Blue Devil teammates knew Richard Baker would distinguish himself in athletics at Stout. Through personal determination, he overcame a career-threatening knee injury to captain the football team and earn all-conference honors in his junior and senior years. Since leaving Stout, he has earned statewide recognition as a top high school wrestling coach and as an assistant football coach in Michigan.
