Luke Peterson begins his second year as an assistant coach with the Blue Devils and will continue to work with the outside linebackers in 2017.

Following a four-year career in the defensive backfield at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., Peterson began his coaching career with the Cobbers where he worked with the safeties during the 2014 season.
 
Peterson obtained a graduate assistantship at the University of Mary, in Bismarck, N. D., where he worked with the Marauder’s defensive ends for the 2015 season.
 
A native of Spicer, Minn., Peterson earned second team all-MIAC honors at safety during his senior year in 2013.  Peterson earned his bachelor’s from Concordia College in Elementary Education.

Peterson is in the process of completing his master’s degree from the University of Mary in Educational Curriculum Instruction and Assessement.
