UW-STOUT (2024-Present)
Kobe Berghammer returns for his third season as a member of the Blue Devils staff in 2026, and second coaching the Quarterbacks. Berghammer coached tight ends when he joined the Blue Devils in 2024.
2025: The Blue Devils went 6-5 in the 2025 football season. For the second year in a row, the Blue Devils made a post-season appearance in the Culver’s Isthmus Bowl. Clinching the program’s first ever post-season win defeating WashU 31-23. Adam Moen eclipsed over 3,200 total yards and 32 total touchdowns. Moen was named second team All-WIAC QB.Â
2024: The Blue Devils went 6-5 (4-3) and qualified for postseason play for the first time since 2000. Stout played in the Culver’s Isthmus Bowl falling 35-32 to Wheaton. Stout played seven games against ranked opponents, defeating #16 Dickinson State, #8 Whitewater and #13 Oshkosh. Stout’s 29-27 win over Whitewater, was the Blue Devils first over the Warhawks since 2001. Adam Moen (3013) became the first Blue Devil to throw for over 3000 yards since the 1998 season. Stout scored the most points (370) in school history. Adam Moen was named second team All-WIAC quarterback.

PLAYING CAREER
UW-Oshkosh (2019-23): A standout quarterback, Berghammer enjoyed a record-setting career at UW-Oshkosh, where he was a four-year starter. He made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2019, leading the Titans to a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) championship, and playoff appearance by orchestrating an upset victory over UW-Whitewater in the final game of the season. Berghammer rewrote the record books at UWO, finishing with 99 touchdown passes (1st), throwing for 8,763 yards (4th), rushing for 30 touchdowns (5th) with 2,274 rushing yards (8th). Also, holds records for individual game performances: 8 touchdown passes against UW-Stevens Point (Oct. 28), 43 completions in a game (1st) going 43/53, throwing for 466 yards (1st), and rushing for 105, combined 571 total yards on the game (1st) versus UW-Stout (Oct. 7). 2019- WIAC Newcomer of the Year, 2022- 2nd team All-Conference, Hansen Rating’s offensive MVP, Team Captain, 2023- 1st team All-Conference, All region Quarterback, Hansen Rating’s All-American, Team Captain. Invited and participated in the Green Bay Packers Pro Day. Â

Originally from Cumberland, Wis., Berghammer received his bachelor's degree in physical education from UW-Oshkosh in 2024.Kobe and his wife Sidney live in Menomonie with their two dogs.Â
