Kobe Beghammer joined UW-Stout football team in August 2024

2024: The Blue Devils went 6-5, 4-3 for their first winning season since 2017 and qualified for postseason play for the first time since 2000. Stout played in the Culver’s Isthmus Bowl falling 35-32 to Wheaton. Stout played seven games against ranked opponents, defeating #16 Dickinson State, #8 Whitewater and #13 Oshkosh. Stout’s 29-27 win over Whitewater, was the Blue Devils first over the Warhawks since 2001. Stout had 12 players named All-WIAC and Luke Cool, Luke Parzyck, Brooks Brewer and Will Hammen all were named D3football.com all-region. In WIAC play, Stout allowed just six sacks, was a perfect 27-27 in the redzone, and had the number one scoring offense. Adam Moen (3013) became the first Blue Devil to throw for over 3000 yards since the 1998 season. Stout scored the most points (370) in school history
 

PLAYING CAREER


UW-Oshkosh (2019-23): A standout quarterback, Berghammer enjoyed a record-setting career at UW-Oshkosh, where he was a four-year starter. He made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2019, leading the Titans to a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) championship by engineering an upset victory over UW-Whitewater in the final game of the season. Under his leadership, UW-Oshkosh never posted a losing record, as Berghammer compiled a 26-14 mark as the team’s starting quarterback. Berghammer rewrote the UWO record books, finishing his career with a program-best 99 touchdown passes while throwing for 8,763 yards—the fourth-most in school history. His dual-threat ability also saw him rush for 30 career touchdowns, ranking fifth in program history. Among his many standout performances, he set single-game school records with eight touchdown passes against UW-Stevens Point (Oct. 28) and 43 completions in a game against UW-Stout (Oct. 7). 2019- WIAC Newcomer of the Year, 2022- 2nd team all conference, Hansen Rating’s offensive MVP, Team Captain, 2023- 1st team all conference, All region Quarterback, Hansen Rating’s All-American, Team Captain.

Originally from Cumberland, Wis., Berghammer received his bachelor's degree in physical education from UW-Oshkosh in 2024
