2019-20: UW-Stout Scholar-Athlete...placed 17th at the WIAC Championship...shot a personal-best 74, breaking her previous best of 77 by three strokes at the 2017 Carleton Spring Invitational where she placed second. With the exception of a double-bogey on the 352-yard third hole, Filipiak made par on the remaining 17 holes. Filipiak finished 26th (88-74 - 162) at the D3 Midwest Classic...played in 11 total rounds, finished with stroke average of 82.82...2018-19: placed 19th at the WIAC Championship and finished with season stroke average of 82.7...played 13 rounds over seven matches and opened the her season a 79 on first day of the UW-Oshkosh Titan Fall Classic, and finished third among 79 golfers (79-81 - 160), a week later, hit a 78 - one stroke short of her career-best - at the Wartburg Fall Invitational. Why did you decide to come to Stout? The GEM Program and the awesome golf coach!
What team and individual goals have you set for this season? Team: to bring down the house at the WIAC Conference meet. Individual: work on mental game and not be so hard on myself.
What is your favorite golf course you’ve competed on during your time at UW-Stout? Oshkosh or Stevens Point Country Club.
What has been one of your favorite experiences while at UW-Stout? Building lasting relationships with my professors and peers. But also spending time with my roommates.
What is your most memorable athletic memory as a Blue Devil? Team winning the conference tournament and going to the NCAA National Tournament as a freshman.

Where did you work this past summer? PGA Championship at Bethpage Black, 3M Open Championship, Minnesota Junior PGA, and Elk River Golf Club.

What part of your game did you work on to get ready for the season? Short Game – Chipping and Putting
What is your pre-competition ritual? Hit on the range, chip a few on the practice green, sink some putts and we’re ready to go.
Are you superstitious about anything? My ball has to be marked with a blue dot by the number, a blue line on the side, and it has to be a Blue Devil Titleist 5.
What do you look for in a good teammate? Someone who is accepting and inclusive to others, exhibits mutual respect, likes to have fun and work hard.
