MENOMONIE - The UW-Stout Blue Devil hockey team will host the first round of the 2026 NCAA DIII men's ice hockey championship on Saturday, March 14 at Fanetti Community Center.
The 2026 DIII men's ice hockey championship bracket was revealed Sunday night and the Blue Devils will host Anna Maria College in the first round Saturday night March 14, at 7 p.m.
The UW-Stout men's hockey team is currently ranked fifth in the Men's Ice Hockey NCAA Power Index (NPI) and qualified for the NCAA National Tournament with a 5-4 win over River Falls in the 2026 WIAC Men's Ice Hockey Tournament/Commissioner's Cup to earn the conference's auto bid.

The 14-team, single-elimination tournament consists of 10 automatic qualifiers and four at-large bids.
Here is the schedule for the 2026 DIII men's ice hockey championship (subject to change)
- First-round games will be played on March 14 from six on-campus sites
- The quarterfinal will be played on March 21 from four on-campus sites
- The national semifinals and final will be held at the Utica University in Utica, New York, Mar. 27-29.
