Kullan Daikawa was named WIAC Kwik Trip Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week for the week of Dec. 22- Jan. 4.
Kullan Daikawa, a senior center from Lino Lakes, Minn., scored two goals to help UW-Stout to a road sweep over No. 3-ranked St. Norbert College (Wis.) and UW-River Falls. He scored a power play goal against St. Norbert in the second period to draw UW-Stout within a goal at 4-3, the first of four straight by the Blue Devils to turn a 4-2 deficit to a 6-4 victory. Daikawa then scored the game-winning goal in the second period, and was a +3, against UW-River Falls to complete the season sweep of the Falcons.
