STEVENS POINT, Wis. (November 4, 2025) — The UW-Stout men's soccer team saw its 2025 season come to a close Tuesday night, falling 6–1 to third-seeded UW-Stevens Point in the WIAC Tournament Quarterfinals at the UWSP Turf Facility.
Freshman Landen Arnstad provided the lone Blue Devil goal in the 40th minute, finishing off a pass from Breckin Fitz to cut into the deficit before halftime. The Pointers, however, proved too much on their home field, adding three more goals in the second half to advance to the semifinals.
Goalkeeper Max Kutz made six saves for the Blue Devils, who battled until the final whistle in front of a crowd of 312. Stout recorded six shots on goal, with Sven Oberg, Davis Arvold, Odyn Peterson, and Rodolfo Saldivar Contreras each contributing offensively.
The loss wraps up a season of growth for the Blue Devils, showing competitive strides in conference play under head coach Cole Schwazrtz.
