OSHKOSH, Wis. — The UW-Stout women's soccer team rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat UW-Oshkosh 2-1 on Saturday afternoon at J. J. Keller Field, improving to 7-4-3 overall and 1-0-2 in WIAC play.
After falling behind 1-0 in the 15th minute, the Blue Devils came alive in the second half. Tessa Pagel evened the score in the 51st minute, finishing off a setup from Calli Heinzerling. Just over ten minutes later, Kayla White netted the eventual game-winner, again assisted by Heinzerling, who notched a pair of helpers on the day.
UW-Stout goalkeeper Kaitlyn Krengel made four saves to preserve the victory as the Blue Devils' defense held off a late surge from the Titans, who outshot Stout 19-14.
With the win, UW-Stout remains unbeaten in conference play and continues to build momentum entering the final stretch of the regular season.
