Jacob Walczak scored 24 points, but UW-Platteville (16-2, 5-1) came away with an 84-54 victory over UW-Stout (7-11, 3-4).

The Blue Devils were able to hang with the #1 team in the country for the first ten minutes of the first half, trading baskets and exchanging leads with the Pioneers. Platteville then went on a 14-2 run to end the first half, taking a seventeen-point lead into the break. Walczak scored 17 of his 24 points in the first half.

The Pioneers pulled away in the second half, led by one of the leading scorers in the country, Logan Pearson. The Pioneers shot nearly 50% from the field, including 44% from three. The Blue Devils couldn't find their stroke this afternoon, shooting just 32% from the field.
