River Falls, Wis. - The Blue Devils Women's Tennis team traveled to UW-River Falls to battle the Falcons on Sunday.
The Blue Devils were able to secure one of three available points in doubles after
Lindsay Leuzinger and
Lexie Stein won a tight 8-7 (7-5) win at the #3 doubles position. After doubles play, the Blue Devils found themselves trailing 1-2 in the team dual.
Singles matches proved to be just as close as doubles, with the difference in all six singles matches being razor thin.
Molly Garber was the lone Blue Devil to break through with a victory, as she fashioned a 7-6 4-6 10-4 win over Sydney Wiener of UW-River Falls. This was Garber's first career singles appearance, and first collegiate singles victory.

The Blue Devils return to action at home on Saturday, October 5th, as they face off with UW-Oshkosh at 9 a.m.
