Blue Devils Fall to Stevens Point in Straight Sets

The Blue Devils fell in straight sets to Stevens Point Wednesday night. Stout trailed 7-6 before a 12-3 run by the pointers put the opening set out of reach at 19-9, UWSP would maintain the 10-point advantage and take the first set 25-15. UWSP jumped out to an early 9-3 lead in the second, stout couldn't get any closer than six, the rest of the way, as Point took the second 25-17. UWSP again jumped out to an early 8-2 advantage, Stout rallied to get within one at 15-14 but the Pointers closed on a 10-4 run to sweep the match.

• Kennedy Barrett  had 18 assists and a block.
• Terrah Moshier  totaled 19 digs and Maja Anderson added 13.  
• Brooke McCune had a team-high seven kills.
• Emma Barton had four kills, four digs and three blocks.
