Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

Blue Devils Shutout Minnesota Morris

Morris, Minn. – An early second half goal by Roberto Perez propelled UW-Stout to it's second win of it's inaugural campaign.

After a scoreless first half that featured three saves from starting goalkeeper Lucas Lang, it was ultimately #10 Roberto Perez that broke the tie in the 47th minute with his first goal of the season.

The Blue Devil back-line made life difficult for the Cougar's offense, only allowing three shots on goal throughout the contest. The Blue Devil defense did not surrender a shot on target throughout the entire second half. This all led to Lucas Lang earning his first career win in net as a Blue Devil.

The Blue Devils improve to 2-5 on the season and the Cougars of Minnesota Morris fall to 0-6. Blue Devil Men's Soccer will be in action again Wednesday, September 18th at 5 p.m. to take on Ripon College.
