MENOMONIE – The UW-Stout football team has announced captains for the 2024 season.
The Blue Devils eight captains for the upcoming 2024 season, voted on by the players, represent offense, defense and special teams and make up the team's leadership council.
The four captains on the offense are junior quarterback
Adam Moen, senior receiver and kick returner
Patrick Corcoran, and senior offensive linemen
Luke Mertens and
Luke Parzyck.
On the defensive side of the ball, the captains are senior defensive back
Richie Murphy, junior linebacker
Blaine Seidl and senior linebackers
Nate Rewald, and
Nathan Williamson.
The Blue Devils report to fall camp on August 13 and will open the 2024 season on Thursday, Sept.5 when they host Carroll University. Kickoff from Williams Stadium is set for 6 p.m.
