DAVENPORT, Fla. - The UW-Stout Baseball Team swept a pair of games over Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Topping the Trailblazers 12-1 and 9-1 in a pair of seven inning games.
GAME ONE
Stout rolled to a 12-1 win in game one.
Nolan Harke got things started with a double to left left that drove in a pair and
Vinnie Fonti followed with a sacrifice fly and Stout led 3-0 after two.
Jack Redwine hit a three-run homer to double their lead 6-0 after three.
Justin Sedin hit an RBI double in the fourth and
Riley Boushack, Fonti Leyton Bowers and Sedin all drove in runs in the fifth to extend the lead to 11-0. Treyson Witt allowed two hits over five innings to pick up the win.
GAME TWO
Stout scored two runs in the first and second innings to take an early 4-0 lead and added four more in the sixth en route to a 9-1 win.
Justin Sedin and
Drew Ries were both 3-4 and
Jack Schirpke was 3-3.
Dak Doyle scattered four hits over six innings with five strike outs to pick up the win.
UP NEXT
The Blue Devils will travel ot Carol Stream, Ill. to play three games against Wheaton College. Stout will face the Thunder on Friday, March 22 at 5 p.m. and twice on Saturday, March 23 at 12 and 3 p.m.
