MENOMONIE – Blue Devil football has released its schedule for the 2024 season.
The Blue Devils will play ten games, six home at Williams Stadium and four on the road. Stout will play three non-conference and six WIAC games.
In non-conference play, Stout will open the season on Thursday Sept. 5 when they host first-time opponent Carroll University.
Stout will then return the home and home series with Dickinson State with a road trip to Dickinson, N.D. to face the Blue Hawks. Last season DSU won the North Star Conference and advanced to the second round of the NAIA playoffs.
Stout will close non-conference play hosting University of Northwestern (Minn.) on Sept. 21, facing the Eagles for the first time since the 1965 season.
After the bye week Stout will open WIAC play.
The Blue Devils will host Whitewater, Eau Claire, La Crosse and Platteville and will travel to Stevens Point, River Falls and Oshkosh.
"We have a good mix of home and away games in 2024," head coach Clayt Birmingham said. "We have new opportunities and a really challenging slate of games to look forward to."
Family weekend will be on Oct. 12 when Stout hosts Whitewater. Homecoming/and Hall of Fame is set for Oct. 26 against Eau Claire.
Stout will begin spring practices in early April.
