The Blue Devils shot 55.6 in the first half making 20 field goals and held River Falls to just nine made shots to jump out to a 45-24 halftime lead. Brody Fox was 7-8 shooting in the opening 20 minutes for 14 points. Stout stretched the lead to 26 with 17:10 left to play before River Falls went on a 14-2 run to cut the lead to 14 at 54-40 with 13 minutes left in regulation. An Aidan Shore layup and a Jacob Walczak triple pushed the lead back up to 18. UWRF tried to make a couple of runs but couldn't get any closer than 12 until they got within nine with 1:17 left in the game. Fox stopped the run with a dunk on the next possession and Walczak hit late free-throws to secure the 13-point win.

• Brody Fox was 11-16 from the field to lead all scorers with 26 points. He pulled down six rebounds two assists and two steals. 
• Aidan Shore was 9-15 for 18 points, three rebounds and two blocks. 
• Jacob Walczak was 5-10 from the field for 16 points, four rebounds and two assists. 
• George Scharlau pulled down 16 rebounds, three assists, a steal and a block.

• Stout shot 47.7 percent (31-65) from the field. River Falls was 22-68 (32.4 percent).
• The teams were even on the glass, River Falls held a slight edge 43-41.
