MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Blue Devils picked up two wins this week, topping Saint Mary's 83-65 at home and beating North Central 69-65 on the road.
Jacob Walczak led the Blue Devils to a pair of wins this week by averaging 20.5 points and shooting 50 percent from the floor and 41.7 percent from 3-pt range. Against Saint Mary's he was 8-14 (4-7 from deep) for 20 points, He added four rebounds, and three assists. At North Central. He scored 19 of 21 points in the second half to help the Blue Devils overcome a14 point deficit with 12 minutes left to lead Stout to a 69-65 win. He was 7-16 from the floor with two rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block.
The Blue Devils will be on the road for a pair of games this week. Stout will travel to Ashland, Wis. to face Northland College on Wednesday, Dec. 11 for a 7 p.m. game with the Lumberjacks. Then on Friday, Dec. 13 the Blue Devils will head to Fargo, N.D. for an exhibition game with North Dakota State. Tip-off from the Scheels Center is set for 12 p.m.
