The Blue Devils controlled play throughout their 71-53 rout of St. Scholastica. The Blue Devils started strong, jumping out to a 21-4 lead early in the first quarter. Stout kept their foot on the gas, riding that momentum to a 14-point lead at halftime, 39-25. The Saints came out of halftime firing, slashing the Blue Devil lead down to just 5 points at the end of the third quarter. Stout responded promptly, playing smothering defense to only allow six fourth quarter points.
