Nelson's Double-Double Not Enough to Stop #16 Titans

The Blue Devils fell to Illinois Wesleyan (3-0) at Johnson Fieldhouse this Saturday. Fresh off a twenty-point win over #2 UW-Platteville, the Titans brought their physical brand of basketball to Menomonie, as both teams combined for twenty fouls in the first half alone. The #16 Titans shot well from the line and took at thirteen-point lead into halftime. The Blue Devils were able to trim the lead down to nine two minutes into the second half, but Illinois Wesleyan never let it get closer than that, claiming a 69-57 win at Johnson Fieldhouse. Justin Nelson recorded a double-double, scoring 15 points and securing 10 boards. He added five blocks in an impressive performance on both ends of the court.
