The Blue Devils fell in the first round of the WIAC tournament to seventh ranked UW-Whitewater in straight sets Tuesday night. Whitewater quickly built a lead in the first set, rattling off seven straight points to build a 9-2 lead. The Warhawks maintained that advantage and took the first set 25-15 behind 16 kills. The second set was close, Stout trailed 10-9, before a 7-3 run gave UWW a 17-12 lead. Stout got within four at 19-15, but the Warhawks closed on a 6-1 run to take the second 25-16. The Warhawks held a four-to-five-point lead for much of the third. UWW build a 20-10 advantage. Stout responded with a run, But couldn't overcome the big lead and fell 25-20.
