MENOMONIE – The UW-Stout men's soccer team fell 2-0 to UW-Stevens Point Saturday evening at Nelson Field.
The Blue Devils (2-10-0, 0-1-0) conceded two first half goals in a 2-0 loss to the Pointers (8-2-3, 1-0-0).
The Pointers out shot the Blue Devils 26-5 and the shots on target were 12-4
Max Kutz made nine saves in the loss.
Both of the UWSP's goals came in the first half, The Pointers got on the scoresheet in the 14
th minute off of a corner kick. They doubled the lead in the 41
st minute, sneaking the ball into the low right side.

The Blue Devils are off until next Saturday, Oct. 12 when the host UW-Platteville. The match is set to start at 1 p.m. at Nelson Field.
