Blue Devil Volleyball Tops Benedictine 3-1 to Improve to 5-0

The Blue Devils improved to 5-0 with a four set win over Benedictine to open the WLC quadrangular. Stout jumped out to a 12-4 lead in the first set, that cushion was all the Blue Devils needed as they went on to win 25-20. Benedictine returned the favor int eh second set, building a 12-4 lead of their own, before cruising to 25-8 win to even the match. The third set was tied at 16 before Stout closed on a 9-5 run to take a 2-1 advantage.  The Blue Devils trailed 13-12 midway through the fourth set before a 8-2 run gave them a 20-15 advantage Stout would go on to win 25-18. 

Top Performers

• Sidney Hoverman had a team-high 14 kills and 15 digs. 
• Lydia Kneubuehl hit .444 with 11 kills and four blocks.  
• Kennedy Barrett had 34 assists and 14 digs.
