MENOMONIE - Levi Wilson and
Jake Hesseling each drove in four in Stout's 14-4 win over Augsburg University Thursday afternoon at Nelson Field.
Levi Wilson hit a two-run homer run in the second inning to give Stout a 2-1 lead and the Blue Devils never looked back scoring four in the fourth and six in the sixth to roll to a big win in their home finale.
Stout broke the game open in the fourth, Jack Schripke hit an RBI double and
Jake Hesseling followed with a two-run homerun. Wilson hit his second of the game to go back-to-back and give Stout a 6-1 lead.
Jacoby Endreas hit an RBI double in the fifth, and a couple of batter later Schripke reached on a fielder's choice to score Endreas and Stout led 8-2 after five.
The Blue Devils scored two in the sixth thanks to
Nolan Harke sacrifice fly and
Parker Hagebock fielder's choice. Schripke worked a bases loaded walk and Hesseling followed with a two-run single and Wilson followed with his fourth RBI of the game with a single to give Stout the 14-2 lead.
Cody Urban pitched 5.1 innings, striking out five and allowed two runs on six hit to pick up the win.
Hesseling went 204 with four RBI,
Jacoby Endreas 3-4 with two runs scored and an RBI. Wilson was 4-4 with four RBI and three runs scored.

The Blue Devils will close out the 2023 season on Sunday, May 7 when they travel to St. Peter, Minn. for a doubleheader against Gustavus Adolphus. First Pitch is set for 1 p.m.
