The Blue Devil Lacrosse team played its first ever varsity game Wednesday afternoon falling 18-7 at Augsburg.
Mai Nou Vang scored the first ever goal for the Blue Devils on the first shot on net for Stout. Both teams scored on their first shot on net, Augsburg drew first blood 15 seconds in to take an early lead. Stout answered 36 seconds later when Vang found the back of the net on a feed from
Megan Copeland. A minute and half later Augsburg retook the lead. Four minutes later
Ally Crymble scored her first goal on a nice pass from
Halle Weinmann. Augsburg tallied the next five goals before Vang scored her second of the game just before the first quarter ended. Vang tallied two more in the second quarter and Stout trailed 11-5 at the half.
Augsburg scored all four goals in the third to lead 15-5 heading into the fourth quarter.
Ellie Gandy scored her first goal early in the fourth and
Ally Crymble scored her first with just under three minutes to play. Â
