Hockey Drops Second Game of Semifinal Series at Stevens Points 5-0

The Blue Devils fell 5-0 in the second game of their WIAC tournament (present by Culver's) semifinal game to eighth ranked Stevens Point Saturday evening. Despite putting 32 shots on net Stout couldn't solve the Pointers netmider. UWSP opened the scoring with a power play tally midway through the second period. Five minutes later they doubled the lead to take a 2-0 lead into the second intermission. The Pointers scored early in the third to take a 3-0 lead. Stout pulled their goalie with just over four minutes to play and UWSP potted an empty netter to lead 4-0 with 4:11 to play. UWSP added one more goal with 3:04 left to seal the series win.
