The Blue Devils closed out the 2022-23 season with a 74-72 road loss at Buena Vista Friday Night. Stout lead throughout the first half until a 6-0 run by BVU gave the beavers their first lead just before halftime.  three-straight 3-point shots propelled BVU to a 15-0 to start the second half. Stout started chipping away at the lead climbing within three with eight minutes tp play. The Beavers quickly pushed their lead back to nine, But Stout didn't stop fighting, clawing their way back and retaking the lead on a
Jackson Noll jumper with two and a half to play. BVU connected on a 3-point basket on their next possession, which would prove to be the final points of the game as neither team could connect down the stretch and the Beavers held on for the win.Â
