Hammen Named Second Team All-American

MENOMONIE - UW-Stout's junior long snapper Will Hammen was selected to the 2023 D3football.com All-American team as a second team selection. 

Hammen, a junior from Combined Locks, Wis., handled all the long snapping duties in 2023 with no bad or fumbled snaps. His kicker tied a school record with 16 made field goals and was 36-37 of PAT's.

He was recently selected to the first-team all-region as a long snapper as well as second-team All-WIAC on Special teams.

He is the first Blue Devil to earn All-American honors since safety Jed Schlegel in 2019.
