Sorensen's 24 Leads Stout Past Crown

The Blue Devils fell into a early 8-0 hole before Raegan Sorensen stole a pass and raced in for a the lay-in to put the Blue Devils on the board. Crown would regain the eight point advantage on the next possession. Stout would claw back to tie the game at 12 before a three-point play by the Polars allowed Crown to take a 15-12 lead after the first quarter. Amanda Giesen and Sorensen led Stout on a 9-0 run to start the second quarter to take a 21-15 lead. Stout would overcome the slow start by outscoring Crown 33-9 in the second quarter and led 45-24 at the half. Stout held Crown to just seven made field goals in the first half. Stout was able to maintain the 20 point advantage throughout most of the second half to leave with 23-point win and improve to 6-1.

• Raegan Sorensen scored a game-high 24 points on 12-19 shooting. She added four rebounds, four steals, and three steals.
• Amanda Giesen scored a 15 points on 5-9 shooting, she grabbed four rebounds and two assists.
• Maraya Wiltrout scored a career-high 12 points, four rebounds and steals. 
• Isabella Sager led the Polars with a 15-point 14-rebound double-double.
