The Blue Devils fell 101-72 in an exhibition game against NCAA Division I North Dakota State Monday night.
George Scharlau hit a triple on Stouts first possession to take an early 3-0 lead and Stout lead 16-15 with just over 12 minutes to go in the first period. But NDSU would go on a 15-4 run to take a 30-20 lead midway through the first. Stout cut the lead to six but NDSU used a late run to take a 18 point lead into the halftime locker room. The Bison held a 20 point advantage for most of the second half before biulding it to 30 in the last three minutes.Â
