The Blue Devils fell in straight sets Friday night. The first set was a hard fought back-and-forth affair. Neither team could gain more than a two point advantage. Platteville was able to rattle off on of the longest rally of the set with four straight points to come from behind and win 25-23. The second set echoed the first early on. Tied at 10 Platteville went on a 7-2 run to break the game open and cruise to the 25-18 win. Stout rallied from a five point deficit midway through the third to Platteville built a five point lead midway through the third set to trail 20-21. But the Pioneers scored to last four point to secure the win.
