Stout scored 27 points in the fourth quarter to come from behind to win the WIAC opener. The Blue Devils entered the fourth quarter trailing by nine, Stout was able to slowly chip away and eventually take the lead with two and a half minutes to play.  After trading baskets,
Amanda Giesen hit a layup with 43 seconds left to give the Blue Devils the lead for good. Stout then hit free throws in the final seconds to leave Stevens Point victorious.Â
