Strong Fourth Quarter Leads Blue Devils Past Pointers 64-58

Stout scored 27 points in the fourth quarter to come from behind to win the WIAC opener. The Blue Devils entered the fourth quarter trailing by nine, Stout was able to slowly chip away and eventually take the lead with two and a half minutes to play.  After trading baskets, Amanda Giesen hit a layup with 43 seconds left to give the Blue Devils the lead for good. Stout then hit free throws in the final seconds to leave Stevens Point victorious.

• Amanda Giesen scored a career-high 21 points on 8 of 15 shooting. She added eight rebounds and four steals. 
• Anna Mutch had a 12 point-11 rebound double-double
• Raegan Sorensen scored 12 points, seven rebounds and four steals. 
• Jamie Pfeifer led the Pointers with 15 points and five rebounds.
