UW-Stout suffers one-goal loss at UW-Whitewater

WHITEWATER (October 23, 2021) - UW-Whitewater's Anna Brodjian scored the only goal of the game in the 66th minute and the Warhawks sent UW-Stout back home with a 1-0 loss Saturday.

Stout goalie Haley Vokaty had recorded four saves, dealt with eight corner kicks and had seen 10 shots come her way before the Warhawks (11-5-0, 4-2-0 WIAC) were able to put a shot past her. The Warhawks were able to make the goal standup, allowing Stout (10-7-1, 2-4-0 WIAC) only three total shots and two shots on goal.

Vokaty finished the late afternoon game with seven saves, her second most saves in a single game this season. The Warhawks' Lily Horne had two saves.

Carly Kauffman and Lauren Boyd put Stout's two shots on net.

The Blue Devils will conclude regular season play Saturday, Oct. 30 when they travel to UW-Stevens Point.
