UW-La Crosse 64, UW-Stout 45
LA CROSSE (January 22, 2020) - UW-Stout dug themselves quite a hole they could never get out and the Blue Devils dropped a conference game at UW-La Crosse, 64-45, Wednesday.
The Blue Devils (12-5, 3-3 WIAC)Â scored only three points in the first quarter, a single bucket and a free throw. Stout trailed at halftime, 28-13, but did show some life in the third period, outscoring the Eagles, 20-15, in the stanza. La Crosse resumed control in the fourth period, outscoring Stout, 21-12.
Freshman
Haylee Yaeger was the only Blue Devil to score in double figures, scoring 14 points. The Eagles (13-4, 4-2 WIAC) were led by Kyah Steiner with 13 points, Ava Kramer with 12 and Danielle Schoenberger with 11.
Stout will host UW-Stevens Point, Saturday, Jan. 25 at 3 p.m.
