UW-Oshkosh 83, UW-Stout 69
MENOMONIE (January 11, 2020) – UW-Stout's
Jon Ciriacks broke 20 points for the second consecutive game, but UW-Oshkosh broke away from a two-point half time lead to down the Blue Devils, 83-69, Saturday on Dewey Mintz Court in Johnson Fieldhouse.
The Titans (8-6, 2-1 WIAC) held a 33-31 halftime lead, but scored the first five points of the half to take a 38-31 lead, built that up to an eight point 46-38 lead and only let Stout (5-9, 1-2 WIAC) as close as five points the rest of the way.
The Titans' Jack Flynn and Eddie Muench each scored 13 points in the second half and Flynn finished with 17 points and Muench 15 points for the game. Will Mahoney added 17 points for the game for the Titans and Adam Fravert contributed 14 and Levi Borchert came off the bench to score 11. Flynn recorded a double-double pulling down 11 rebounds.
Ciriacks, fresh off a 23 point effort in a win over UW-Eau Claire Wednesday, led all scorers with 25 points.
Luke Geiger scored 16 points, 14 in the second half for Stout and
TYreese Alexander added 11 points.
Stout will be at UW-River Falls, Wednesday, Jan. 15 at 7 p.m.
