UW-Stevens Point 3, UW-Stout 1
STEVENS POINT (September 25, 2019) - UW-Stout won the first set, but UW-Stevens Point came back to win the final three sets and took the match, 3-1, Wednesday in Berg Gym.
The Blue Devils (12-5, 0-2 WIAC) won the first set, 25-17, but the Pointers (14-4, 2-0 WIAC) came back to take the final three sets, 25-23, 25-20, 25-12.
The Pointers' April Gehl knocked down a match-high 18 kills. Tara Emme had 11 kills. The Pointers recorded 20 assisted blocks.
McKylie Hoff recorded nine kills to lead Stout.
Kara Simonson and
Lydia Kneubuehl had eight kills. Stout recorded on solo block and 12 assisted blocks.
The Blue Devils will be at the University of Dubuque, Friday, Sept. 27 with a 4:30 p.m. start.
