UW-Stout 81, Northland College 66
ASHLAND (December 11, 2019) -
Luke Geiger led UW-Stout with 30 points as the Blue Devils got back on the winning track with an 81-66 win at Northland College Wednesday.
In addition to Geiger's points - he went 4 of 6 from the 3-point line -Â the Blue Devils (3-5) held a huge advantage in the paint, outscoring the Lumberjacks 54-18 in the lane.
TYreese Alexander finished with 12 points and six rebounds, while
Jon Ciriacks dropped in 11 points and had seven rebounds.
Cliff McCray has seven rebounds. Stout held a 49-30 advantage in rebounds.Â
Geiger connected on 11 of 15 from the floor and made 4 of 6 from the line.
Stout was 33 of 67 from the floor and 6 of 24 from 3-point range. Stout was 9 of 17 from the line. The Lumberjacks went 12 of 30 from beyond the arc and were 24 of 61 from the floor. Northland made 6 of 14 free throws.Â
The Blue Devils held a 45-38 halftime lead.Â
Stout is off until they host the University of Dubuque, Friday, Dec. 20 at 12:30 p.m.
