OSHKOSH, Wisconsin- UW-Stout fell to Wisconsin Lutheran College 3-2 in the earlier contest. The Blue Devils also fell to St. Norbert College 3-2 later in the day at the UW-Oshkosh Pizza Hut Classic.
In the first contest against Wisconsin Lutheran College, the Blue Devil's lost the first set, but they came back in the second to make the match tied at 1-1. Stout won the second game and were one game away from taking the contest.
The fourth game went to Wisconsin Lutheran with a score of 28-26. The Warriors took the last set 15-3 to win the match.
Kara Simonson and
Kennedy Strain each had 12 kills in the match.
Steph Cannon added 28 digs and
Jessica DuVal added 39 assists.
In the second match of the day, the Blue Devils won the first game, but lost the next two. In the fourth set, the Blue Devils dominated and won 25-10. In the final set, St. Norbert won a close game, 20-18 to win the match.
Simonson led the Blue Devils with 14 kills. Strain, Lexi Nelson, and
Grace Maurer each had 13 kills. Jessica Duval had 55 assists and
Steph Cannon had 32 digs.
