PLYMOUTH (October 20, 2018) -
Steph Cannon broke the school career digs record as UW-Stout made short work of both opponents with 3-0 decisions over Concordia-Chicago and Lakeland University at a triangular meet at Lakeland Saturday.
Cannon, a junior, tallied 16 digs in the win over Concordia, then added 27 digs in the win over Lakeland University to bring her career total to 1487 digs, eclipsing the previous mark of 1479 set by Alicia Mizer from 2006-09.
The Blue Devils improved to 15-11 by downing Concordia, 25-15, 25-17, 25-18, and Lakeland, 25-9, 25-18, 25-22.
Stout was able to play deep into their lineup today, with 12 players seeing time against Concordia and 12 players against Lakeland.
Kennedy Strain put down 10 kills in the win over Concordia and nine kills against Lakeland.
