MENOMONIE (October 13, 2018) -Â UW-Platteville scored all four of their goals in about a 20 minute time span of the second half to take a 4-0 win over UW-Stout Saturday at Nelson Field.

Amber Lueder scored in the 56th minute, Macie Alexa in the 70th minute, Kylee Cowell in the 73rd minute and Caelyn Steffens in the 76th minute.

Platteville held a 17-5 advantage in shots and a 14-5 advantage in shots on goal.
The game was scoreless after the first half, and nearly the entire game was played on the north end of the field. The Blue (2-10-1, 0-4-0) attacked consistently in the first half, and put two shots on goal within the first minutes of the game.
But the tides turned in the second half as the Pioneers (8-6-0, 2-2-0 WIAC) applied the pressure and chased Stout starter
Claudia Anderson, who made eight saves, but gave up all four goals before giving way to
Melissa Ferrise, who recorded two goals in about 10 minutes.The Pioneers outshot Stout 14-1 in the second half.
