Saturday was Alumni Day and a large contingent of former players turned out for the morning game, including Hall of Fame players Julie Maki,  Renee Kasten, Sara Kahl, Erin Churchill, Laura Knudsen and Lindsey Erichsen. The day also marked a day that played tribute to the memory of former Blue Devil Amanda Geissler, who died in an airplane crash, Dec. 31, 2017, in Costa Rica. A moment of silence was observed before the game, a jersey was presented to her parents, Jeff and Cheryl Geissler, and sister, Lindsey, and a memorial video commemorating Amanda Geissler's life was played at halftime.
