Auggies turn the tables on Blue Devils

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn  (September 7, 2016) – Only five days after finishing off Augsburg College 3-0 in the final game of the University of Northwestern Invitational, the Auggies returned the favor on their own turf and bounced UW-Stout, 3-0, Wednesday.
 
Talk about your consistency in this contest, the Auggies took three identical 25-21 set wins.
 
Ashley Pratt (Jr, Lakeville, Minn) led Stout with 11 kills, the only Blue Devil in double digit kills. Olivia Jung (Sr, Andover, Minn) added eight kills for Stout. Pratt and Kennedy Strain (So, Elk River, Minn) each had one solo block and two assisted blocks.
 
The Auggies got 13 kills from Jaelyn Arndt and 10 from Taylor Linn.
 
Stout returns to action Sept. 9-10 at the Northland College Invitational.
