RIVER FALLS (February 13, 2016) - After holding 13th-ranked UW-River Falls to one goal over two periods, UW-Stout saw their hopes of hosting a WIAC first round playoff game go away as the Falcons scored three third period goals in the final three minutes of the game and take a 4-0 win at Hunt Arena Saturday.
The Blue Devils (9-11-5, 1-6-1 WIAC) needed a win to tie UW-Superior in the standings. The Blue Devils held the tie-breaker with the Yellowjackets, but the point proved moot.
