UW-La Crosse 3, UW-Stout 2LA CROSSE (September 30, 2015) - UW-Stout and UW-La Crosse traded sets but it was La Crosse that came on out on top, 3-2, in a conference volleyball match at Mitchell Hall Wednesday.
The Eagles (12-4, 2-0 WIAC) took the match, 25-19, 22-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-9.
Ashley Pratt (So, Lakeville, Minn) led the Blue Devils (10-10, 1-1 WIAC) with 13 kills and four block assists. Kenney Strain (Fr, Elk River, Minn) had 12 kills and four block assists and
Rachel Tschumperlin (Sr, Fairmont, Minn) had 12 kills and five block assists.
The Eagles got 17 kills from Leah Putzier, 14 kills from Ashley Entinger and 10 kills from Jil Entinger. The Eagles collected eight service aces.
Stout is off until Friday, Oct. 9 when they host UW-Whitewater at 7 p.m. Stout will wrap up the home season, Saturday, Oct. 10 by hosting UW-Platteville at noon.
