MENOMONIE (September 20, 2015) - Sarah Todey's arcing shot from about 25 yards out gave UW-Stout a 1-0 win over St. Scholastica in double overtime Sunday at Nelson Field.

With the game into it's second overtime period, Todey took the throw-in from Addy Maher (Sr, Racine) and launched the shot towards the goal, looping the shot just over the outstretched fingers of a leaping Kelsey Reeves, the Saints' goalkeeper.

While the Blue Devils (4-1-2) outshot the Saints, 11-5, overall, they had a difficult time getting shots on frame. Reeves made two saves throughout the afternoon, while the Saints (2-4-2) put all five shots on net and the Blue Devils' Paige Meyer (Sr, Beldenville) stopped all five, recording her fourth shutout of the season.

The Blue Devil defense did not allow a Saints' shot in the two overtime periods.

Stout has played four overtime games so far this season, and three of their four home games have gone into overtime.

Stout will host St. Mary's University, Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m., then will travel to UW-Platteville, Saturday, Sept. 26.
