UW-La Crosse 52, UW-Stout 36LA CROSSE (February 4, 2015) - UW-Stout was held to a season offensive low as they lost to UW-La Crosse, 53-36, Wednesday at Mitchell Hall.
The Blue Devils (6-15, 4-8 WIAC) shot only 22.1 percent (15-68) from the field and had no players hit double digits. 
Katelynne Folkers led Stout with nine points. She also pulled down eight rebounds. Stout five starters accounted for all but five points.
The Eagles (9-12, 4-8 WIAC), who led 32-13 at halftime, were led by Rachel Atchison with 12 points. Elise DeNoyer added 10 points. The Eagles shot 41.7percent (20-48) from the floor.  The Eagles' five starters accounted for all by nine points.
Stout won the rebound battle, pulling down 49 to 45 for La Crosse. Both teams turned the ball over - a lot. The Eagles had 27 turnovers, while Stout had 27. Stout had a season-high 17 steals. Folkers had five steals, while 
Kyleigh Hebert (Jr, Spencer( had four steals. The Eagles recorded 13 steals.
Stout has the conference bye this weekend, then will be at UW-River Falls, Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m.
