Monmouth College 63, UW-Stout 50 (Box Score)WAVERLY, Iowa (November 20, 2015) - UW-Stout led for all but just over six minutes of the game, but it was the final five-plus minutes of the contest that ultimately led to Monmouth College carrying a 63-50 win over the Blue Devils in the opening game of the Buzz Levick Tournament at Wartburg College Friday.
With UW-Stout (0-2) leading 40-27 five minutes into the second half, Monmouth College went on a 17-4 run over the next eight minutes to tie the game at 44 apiece.

Isaac Elliott (So, Stevens Point), the Blue Devils' leading scorer of the night, would give Stout a 47-45 lead with 6:41 remaining. Andrew Mathison tied the game at 47 all for the Scots (2-0). Monmouth would finish the game on a 15-3 run.
Elliott led Stout with 14 points, matching his career high. Monmouth had three players in double digits. John Calhoun led all scorers with 22 points. Riley Blake had 21 and Mathison finished with 10.
Stout will face Emmaus Bible College at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21 in the tournament consolation game. Emmaus lost 103-46 to Wartburg College.
